Each student will prepare and lead a discussion on a subject of


their choice for 20-30 minutes
Instructions :
Choose a subject (anything: politics, technology, sport, food,
travel..)
Do some research
Select some new / interesting vocabulary
Prepare approximately 10 questions to lead the discussion
Put the vocabulary & questions together on a page (with pictures
and/ or other links)
Bring a copy of your page for the teacher and other students
Lead a discussion with other students
Encourage everyone to speak and share their opinions,
experiences and ideas
Ensure that everyone participates as equally as possible

The activity is designed to give each student the opportunity to develop


their vocabulary, oral communication skills, confidence, fluency

Compare their access to water and yours.
10. What other problems could result from these
women collecting water like this everyday?
11. Think of some ways you could save water in
your daily habits.
12. Think of ways that companies & schools
could save water.
13. How can we make people change their
actions in order to save water in the future?
