IV.1

Offsetting of Schedule

IV.1.1 Offsetting is defined as the process of adjusting work schedule in lieu of


the excess duty/time rendered by an employee but not considered as
overtime work.
IV.1.2 As a policy, an employee who reports in excess of his duty schedule can
offset his next duty schedule following the Company procedure on
offsetting.
IV.1.3 It shall be the responsibility of the immediate superior to regularly monitor
the work schedule/duty of his/her employees.
IV.1.4 All offsetting shall be supported by the Request to Offset Form (ROF)
duly approved by the Department Manager. The ROF shall be
accomplished and approved prior to offsetting.
IV.1.5 Offsetting must be done in the inclusive payroll period cut-off of the
excess hours rendered, for proper monitoring and to avoid adjustment on
the next cut-off period.
