COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course explore the general curriculum theories and design, and a number of current and
emerging curriculum design and development issues as they relate to introduction and the use of
computers and other educational technologies to support teaching and learning in the school
systems. The course exposes students to current educational delivery concepts and paradigms
that are being used to design suitable curriculum to support computer and other educational
technology-based education and learning within the school system.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

Distinguish between a syllabus and a curriculum.


Identify the various models of Instructional design
Develop instructional materials for teaching and learning
