Term Explanation
Classification of
measurement object type
On the top level, measurement objects are classified into three
categories: radio network related measurement, Equipment
related measurement, transport network related measurement.
By means of the classification, users can easily navigate
through the document.
Measurement object type
Measurement object types are located at the second level of
the document structure.
One measurement object type contains one or more
measurement units.
Measurement unit
Measurement units are located at the third level of the
document structure.
One measurement unit contains one or more counters but
belongs to only one measurement object type.
Measurement counter
Measurement counters are located at the forth level of the
document structure.
Counters are the basic elements of performance measurement.
One counter belongs to only one measurement unit.

RRC Connection Reestablishment Failure

Description
An RRC connection reestablishment is a UE-initiated process of recovering RRC connection.
The RRC.ReEstFail.Cell measurement unit measures the number of RRC connection
reestablishment failures for different causes in a cell.
