Solar Cooling Techniques

Solar panel efficiency decreases with temperature due to an inverse relationship between output power and temperature from the panel's dependence on open circuit voltage, which also decreases with temperature. The document recommends using passive air cooling by tilting panels, attaching metal sinks, or using pumps or suction to force water or air in thin layers around or below panels to cool them and improve efficiency.

Intro.

Solar Panel Efficiency decreases with

temperature.
inverse relationship of output power (conversion
efficiency) with temperature is mainly due to the
dependence of the open circuit voltage, Voc with
temperature.

How to Cool Solar Panels

1.Use Passive air cooling technology(tilted solar
panels air will flow from bottom to top)
2.Use metal sink (like in chips)
3.Use pump to force water or air in a thin layer
between panels .
4.Use suction to force water below the panels
