Once again, good evening teachers of San Ricardo
District. Josette Biyo, a Science Teacher known globally for her
passion in teaching, once said and I quote, teaching is not a
lucrative profession. It does not guarantee financial security.
Sometimes, teaching can be synonymous to heartaches and
sacrifices. But, opening the minds of young Filipinos are the
moment we live for. Seeing the happiness in a childs face is
treasure money cant buy. I know all of us lived with the same
mantra, right teachers?
G:
Indeed partner. But for tonight, let us allow ourselves to
relax and relish by witnessing the performances of everyone and
of course the glamour and grace of our striking ladies vying for
the title as MENTOR QUEEN 2016.

B: And to sum up this evenings affair, allow me to barrow a

quote from Henry ford as he says that "Anyone who stops learning
is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays
young." This night is a clear as the sun manifestation that
teachers will never grow old, maybe physically, but our spirit will
stay young and will continue to beat with the rhythm of sands of
time.
G: Let this be a night for us to get acquainted with everyone
once again and let us remember Matthew 5:13: "You are the salt
of the earth. You are the light of the world. As we go back to our
respective schools, may we always remember that just like salt,
we should be the catalyst of change the world needs and it shall
start the moment we put our hearts to our profession because at
the end of the day teaching is not just a profession but a vocation.
