school, dont talk while others are talking, keep items out of your mouth.
Lead the way- show by example, be a good role model, be nice to others, pay attention

for safety.
Behavior System
Clip system is used in all elementary classrooms
Students start each day on green and can move up for good choices or down for
poor choices
Warnings are given before clips are moved down
If a student ends the day on orange, I will conference with the student and a
form will be sent home for you to sign
If a student ends the day on red, we will call you or e-mail you immediately to
discuss the days events
Positive choices earn points on calendars to earn a prize in the prize box
Class Reward
When the entire class is making good choices, Pac-man moves up one pellet.
However, when the class needs a reminder, the ghost moves up!
At the end of the week, whoever is closer (ghost or Pac-man) wins the fruit.
Once Pac-man has earned 10 fruits, the class earns a class reward (party, movie
day, etc.)
The students vote to decide what we do for this party.
OWLS Nest
This new system is being used by the entire school
Children who are observed making good choices may earn a ticket
The tickets are collected at various times throughout the week
Students can randomly earn a reward by earning the tickets, or save their
tickets to purchase rewards from the Hoot Loot Booth
Team Prizes
Each team has a Pokemon mascot (Mr. Johnson was a nerd as a kid)
When all members of the team are working collaboratively, ready for a transition, etc., they earn their mascot an
Experience Point
For each 25 experience points, students earn lunch club (lunch in class and movie)
At 50 experience points, the Pokemon mascot levels up once and earns the next level rewards (lunch club,
snack)
At 75 experience points, the Pokemon reaches the next level and earn more next level rewards (Lunch club,
snack, prize box)
The team with the most experience points at the end of the cycle will win all of the prizes and be posted forever
on the WALL OF FAME!

Snacks and water bottles are permitted in our classroom
Water bottles are allowed at the desk at all times, please only send water to
have at their desks. We have already had a few spills so we want to make sure
its just water.
