Project is a temporary work while job is a permanently work.
Project is a group of jobs while job is an individual work.
Triple constraint is the combination of three goals on a successful project which
is scope goal, cost goal and time goal.

2. What is project management? Briefly describe the project management

Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques


to project activities to meet project requirements.

Project management frameworks are efforts to understand the scope of a project.


It consists of 4 frameworks which are Stakeholders needs and expectations,
Project management knowledge areas, tools and techniques, and Project
portfolios.
Stakeholders are the people involved in or affected by project activities. The
stakeholders which sponsors a project to derive benefits from projects may
consider as customers. The result of projects should focus on the customers
requirements which is to achieve their goals.

Project team
Project Management Knowledge Areas solve the critical concerns in project
planning and execution. PMI Knowledge Areas are:

Core knowledge areas:


o Scope management
o Time management
o Cost management
o Quality management

Facilitating knowledge areas:

o Communication management
o Risk management
o Procurement management
o Stakeholder management

Integrative knowledge areas:


o Project integration management

The project plan cannot be created without the application of core knowledge
areas.
Tools and techniques help to understanding any of knowledge areas above.
