Organizational Behavior is a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior

First,thiscourseisabouthumanbehaviorinorganizationalsettings.Learningabouttheconceptsinthiscourse(asistrueofthe
conceptsinmostanycourse)isfacilitatedbypermittingdirectexperiencewiththem.Thus,byformingminiorganizationsineach
classmeeting,youaregivenagreaterchancetodirectlyexperiencesomeofthethingsyouaretryingtolearnabout.Second,the
vastmajorityofyouwillfindyourselfifyouhaven'talreadydonesoworkingingroupsatsometimeoranother(infact,many
ofyouwillspendthemajorityofyourworkinglivesasmembersofagroup).Thereisnochancewhatsoeverthatyouwillavoid
slackinggroupmembersandinterpersonalconflictaftercollege.Whynotfacethemusicandstartnowtolearnhowtocopewith
thesefrustratingelementsofgroupwork?
