The digital image(s) from the photo session identified below are copyrighted professional photographs
of Lifetouch Portrait Studios Inc. (Lifetouch), the licensed operator of JCPenney Portraits.
Instructions to Retailers* (Retailer means a photo lab, store, website, copy center, retoucher, digital
artist or any other provider of image-based product and services to consumers)
If signed by an Authorized User, Lifetouch gives its permission to Retailers to use, reproduce, modify,
distribute and display the digital images from the session identified below (the Released Images) on
behalf of the Authorized User, for the Authorized Users lawful purposes.

that I am further authorized by all parties appearing in the images to possess and use the images for the intended

Note: Federal and state copyright laws provide that the author of a work is the owner of it. Copying a work
without the authors permission is a violation of the law. This is true whether or not the image contains a
copyright notice on it. Lifetouch owns the copyright on the images taken by its photographers. Lifetouch
is willing to give permission to the Authorized User of the Images CD to copy/reproduce the images on the
CD. Any other copying is a violation of the copyright law and may subject the violator to criminal and civil
prosecution. Lifetouch neither assigns its copyright nor waives its rights for any purpose other than those
expressly contained in the License Agreement.
