3. Course Description:
Arts education focuses on the learner as recipient of the knowledge, skills, and values
necessary for artistic expression and cultural literacy. This is performance based discipline.
It also deals with the study of the different art elements and principles and art processes
of Philippine arts, Asian arts, Western arts and Contemporary.
4. Number of Units: 3
5. Number of HRS: 54
6. Course Requirements:
a. Examinations
Prelim, Mid-term, and Finals = 40%
b. Quizzes
= 35%
c. Projects
= 25%
