Editorial Intern
 Worked under the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Producer with an intern staff of six to help develop
the company’s Web site and increase awareness of the MakeItPro brand and its services.
 Created and managed a section of the Web site devoted to inspirational athletes, which included
feature articles that I wrote throughout the course of the internship. It was showcased on the Web
site’s homepage and continues to be to this day.
 Researched and helped design a model of settings and restricted features to maintain the safety and
privacy of MakeItPro’s younger demographic.

Cuestonian January 2009 – May 2009


Arts & Entertainment Editor/Staff Writer
 Worked on a staff of 18 to brainstorm story ideas and write news, feature and editorial articles for the
Cuestonian, a student-run newspaper.
 Oversaw the editing from the first draft to the final product alongside the Editor-in-Chief and
Managing Editor.
 Submitted weekly blogs to serve as a contribution to the online version of the newspaper.
 Awarded by my peers and adviser for exemplary achievement in journalism.
