STEP BY STEP PROCESS ON HOW TO USE


THE NEW MEMBERSHIP PORTAL PART 1
Follow the steps below to pay dues online
1. Click on Current Member Portal link on the Home Page of
NSE website (www.nse.org.ng)
2. Login to the Membership Portal using your Member No as
username and password
3. Click on Financial Status to know your current subscription
status. Please note that your financial standing comprises of
the current year dues and any previous debt. If your financial
standing is in green colour, it means you are not indebted, but
if your status is in red, it means you are owing.

4. Click on Pay Dues to Make Payment.
a.

The E-wallet will load your current outstanding dues (If your Ewallet is in minus, that shows the previous fees being owed before
now. You can enter any amount to pay out of the amount owed or
even pay more than the outstanding debt. Please note that if you
pay more than the previous due it will be stored in advance for
subsequent year payments.) Click on Continue Payment to use any
of the payment option

b. To pay the current year due, choose the current year due to load
your current year due, your payment item is displayed according to
your Member type. You can also pay the Current Member Dues in
instalment. For Instance as a Corporate Member, the following dues
will load for you: Member Annual Subscription, Benevolent Fund
and International Levy. You may decide to tick part of the payment
item and make payment for that, then comeback later to pay the
remaining dues . On selecting your payment items, click proceed to
payment and use any of the payment options.

How to use the payment option listed above is detailed in
subsequent slides

ONLINE PAYMENT
(VERVE AND MASTER CARD)
Please ensure that your verve and master cards have been
enabled for online payment by your bank before using the
online payment mode.

On the checkout page, choose pay online and you will be


directed to the online payment gateway
On the online payment gateway page, choose your card type
and enter your card details, on successful payment you will be
directed to the website.
Click on Print receipt to print your receipt if you are paying for
yearly dues. For wallet payment, The mail sent after successful
payment serve as evidence of payment. Meanwhile you can
print or view your financial standing to know your current
financial standing.

BANK PAYMENT PART 1


Please note that the Bank Payment option is mostly for people
whose cards have not been enabled for online payments or do
not have card to make payment online

Please also note that for this feature to work, such member
must have a valid email address. **Read the Other Feature
slide on how to update your email address, phone number and
passport.
On the checkout page, choose Pay at Bank Branch and a
reference number will be generated for you.
Take the Reference Number to any branch of the commercial
banks listed in the next slide. The Reference number can be
used in any of the expected banks on the next slide, but at the
moment only the banks under already setup banks can receive
payment, others are currently being setup. We will update you
once more banks setup the collection account

BANK PAYMENT PART 3


At the Bank, Ask for Nigerian Society of Engineers on Paydirect.
Fill the teller with the amount reference number and amount
generated from the portal.
On successful payment, the cashier will print out a receipt as
evidence of payment. At this time your financial status has been
updated automatically from the portal. You may wish to go back
to print out your receipt if you are paying for Membership Dues
or get an email confirmation if you are paying for e-wallet.

QUICKTELLER (MOSTLY FOR VISA


CARD USERS) PART 1
Please note that Quickteller is another mode of online payment but
will be more suitable for those with Visa Cards.
On the checkout page, choose Pay at Bank Branch and a reference
number will be generated for you.
Visit www.quickteller.com/nse
If you are paying for Member Dues, choose Member Subscription
from the list of option and enter the reference generated from the
website, your email address and phone number, click on continue, it
will Load your Name and the amount you are expected to pay.
Confirm the amount is correct, proceed to make payment online, on
successful payment. Go back to the portal to confirm that your
financial standing has been updated.

QUICKTELLER (MOSTLY FOR VISA


CARD USERS) PART 2
Please note that Quickteller is another mode of online
payment but will be more suitable for those with Visa Cards.
On the checkout page, choose Pay at Bank Branch and a
reference number will be generated for you.
Visit www.quickteller.com/nse
If you are paying for Wallet, choose Wallet from the list of
option and enter the reference generated from the website,
your email address and phone number, click on continue, it will
Load your Name and the amount you are expected to pay.
Confirm the amount is correct, proceed to make payment
online, on successful payment. Go back to the portal to confirm
your financial standing has been updated.

AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE


(ATM)
ATM is another mode of payment for those that want to use the ATM for
payment.
On the checkout page, choose Pay at Bank Branch and a reference number
will be generated for you.
Visit any ATM Location. Please note that this can mostly work on ATM
that has Quickteller enabled on it. 90% of Nigeria ATM are enabled with
Quickteller
Insert your card, Press the Quickteller Option, Press Pay Bills, Press Others

For Wallet, Enter: 04214413 as the Biller Code; For Member Subscription,
Enter 04214415 as the Biller Code. Press Proceed
Enter the Reference Number generated from the website as Customer
Reference. Press Proceed

Confirm the amount and name is correct, Press Pay Amount Due, after
successful payment. Go back to the portal to confirm that your financial
standing has been updated.

USSD
This option enable you dial a code on your mobile phone to make
payment. Please note that for this option to work, your phone
number must have been enabled by your bank for mobile payment.
Generate Reference Number from the website.
For Wallet Payment; Dial

For Member Dues Payment, Dial

Please note that 570100000001234 is the reference number


generated from the website via the Pay at Bank Branch button
