Applications are invited from bona fide students of all recognised schools/colleges of Class X, XI & XII (Science Stream
only) for the award of several scholarships worth Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- each. Certificates of Appreciation are also
awarded to all high scoring candidates in the test with All India Ranking (AIR).
The scholarships are awarded based on merit in an online test of 02 hours for 200 questions for 200 marks. The test
comprises of four sections of 50 questions each (1 mark for each question) in Physics & Chemistry, Maths/Biology,
English Language and Simple Logic & General Knowledge.
AMOUNT & NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS: There are at least 20 scholarships of Rs. 25,000/- each to the top 20 scorers
(Rs. 50,000/- to Rank #1 in the list).
CERTIFICATES: Certificates of Appreciation shall be awarded to all candidates who score aggregate of 40% and above
of all the four sections put together in the test.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: The toppers winning the scholarships shall be felicitated in a gathering presided over by some
renowned person/s of knowledge and/or enterprise in the last week of October, 2015 in Mumbai.
SYLLABUS: The content and level of questions are based on SSC and HSC books prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and
other State boards in India. The test comprises of four sections as given below:
Physics & Chemistry
II
Maths / Biology
III
English Language
IV
Logic & G.K.

All Sections in Two Hours
NOTE: Only those students who are appearing or passing out their class X, XI & XII exams of 2015 are
eligible to apply for NEST-Junior-2015.
TEST CENTRES: In all State Capitals and other major cities of India. Please check list on this website to
choose a centre in or near your city, such as the following:
Agra, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi & Ncr, Dhanbad, Durgapur, Ernakulam (cochin),
Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hubli, Hyderabad, Indore, Itanagar, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata,
Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai, Meerut, Mumbai & Suburbs, Nagpur, Nashik, Patna, Pune, Ranchi,
Rohtak, Shimla, Trichy, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam, etc.
(Please note that your choice of centre may be changed to any other nearby centre if the number of
candidates at a centre is less than 100 and/or for any other strategic or emergency reasons. Except in a
situation beyond our control, we will inform you about any such change in advance, at least 15 days
before the test.)
GRADING OF MARKS: Following is the grading of marks:
PARTICIPATION FEE: Please get a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) before
you start to fill up the application form. Please note that there is late fee of Rs. 100/- after 31st
March, 2015 till 31st May, 2015 and Rs. 200/- till 30th June, 2015.

Please follow the below given steps if you are sending application/s by post/courier:
Download the application form from www.nest.net.in/application_form.htm
Fill up the application form correctly and completely and paste your latest
photograph in the space provided on it.
Send your filled up application form by registered post/courier attached
with a DD of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour of SEMCI
INDIA payable at MUMBAI at the following address:

[Note: Registrations for degree students of science, engineering & medical courses will start from rst week of July, 2015.]
NOTE: I) There is no need for any attestation, verification or recommendation.

ii) Do not attach any other documents except DD with the application form.
iii) Applicants can also form a group of two or more students and draw a single DD of the cumulative amount and
send all the applications together in a single envelop to save their time & money.
iv) Anyone who tops the list in a category cannot apply again in the same category.
v) It is the prerogative of the college to charge Rs. 25/- per candidate as processing fee for collection and dispatch
of application to NEST office if applications are sent through school/college.
vi) Admit cards will be sent by e-mail only a week before the test.
LAST DATE WITHOUT LATE FEE: 31st March, 2015. Thereafter, there is late fee of Rs. 100/- till 31st May, 2015 and
Rs. 200/- till 30 June, 2015.
RESULTS: 5th September, 2015.
