Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to read and understand texts
and answer at least 5/7 questions correctly.
Activities:
1.

Teacher shows 2 pictures to the class and asks pupils what they can see in it.
Teacher accepts every response. Teacher then explains that there are animals
in each picture and shows them to pupils. Teacher writes the word camouflage
on the board.

2.

Pupils guess what it means while teacher writes pupils responses on the board.
Teacher gives the camouflage definition.

3.

Teacher reads the text (textbook page 66). Pupils listen and repeat.

4.

Teacher goes through the difficult words with pupils. Teacher discusses the text
with pupils and asks questions to assess their comprehension.

5.

Pupils answers comprehension questions in the textbook (page 67) and discuss
the answers with teacher.

Activities:
1. Teacher distributes the picture cards and a set of words to each groups and let
them discussed about the pictures
2.Teacher explores the pictures and post questions based on the pictures
3. Pupils are asked to locate the verb words
4. Teacher asks the pupils to form the simple past tense sentences with teachers
guidance
5.Teacher explains to the pupils and asks them to do.
