Skill Development Programme in ITI Raebareli-BSS

ITI Limited in Raebareli has partnered with the Telecom Sector Skill Council to provide skill development training programs. In 2014, ITI Limited received certification to provide the Base Station Support Engineers training course, which it has offered to students from Feroze Gandhi Institute of Technology and Engineering, with 45 out of 59 students receiving job placements. The one-month Base Station Support Engineers training program is open for admission and provides hands-on experience through equipment at ITI's well-equipped training center. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a jointly issued certificate recognized by the private and public sectors.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME AT ITI LIMITED RAEBARELI

ITI Limited (A Government of India undertaking) has signed MOU with Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) to
promote and develop Telecom Skill and capacity building in Telecom Sector and ITI Limited has got Training
Provider Certificate from TSSC on 07-04-2014. Ministry of Communication & IT has recommended ITI Limited
Raebareli as excellent Skill Development Centre for Northern India.
ITI Limited Raebareli is engaged in Manufacturing of Switching and Access Products for catering the need of
BSNL and MTNL. Raebareli Unit has started Skill Development Training Programme in Base Station Support
(BSS) Engineers Module since 2014 of TSSC. The students have an excellent opportunity to orient themselves
on the technological development in the field of Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication and in
their respective areas of specialization. Last year ITI Raebareli has provided training on BSS Support Engineers
Course to 59 B.Tech students of Feroze Gandhi Institute of Technology and Engineering (FGIET) Raebareli, 45
students out of 59 students have got placement in various reputed Industries/Service Sectors.
 Admission for Base Station Support (BSS) Engineers Module (QP No:
TEL/Q6200) training programme is open.
 Prerequisite for training: Diploma / B.Tech /M. Tech in EC, CS, IT and related fields.
 Has good well equipped training centre with experienced faculty members.
 Has Certified Master Trainer and qualified Trainers from TSSC.
 Has one Mobile Tower installed by BSNL in ITI campus for practical demonstration.
 Training Fees is Rs 4000/= per student and it is to be deposited at Training Centre through DD. DD
should be made in favour of ITI LIMITED payable at RAEBARELI.
 Duration of Course is One Month / 200 Hours including theory and practical.
 After successful of completion of course, every student has to qualify/pass on line theory and viva
exam conducted by TSSC.
 Training certificate will be issued jointly by ITI Limited and TSSC to the Qualifying Student.
 This certificate is recognized by private & Public Sector and Overseas organisation also.
 Student with valid Professional Skill Development Certificate will be treated as Skilled Person who may
get benefit in placement process.
