Lab Report

This lab report details the results of various tests conducted on a 66-year-old male patient. Blood tests found macrocytic anemia with neutrophilic leukocytosis. A stress echocardiogram was negative for exercise-induced new left ventricular wall motion abnormalities. Serum creatinine and urea levels were within normal ranges. The ESR was elevated. A peripheral blood smear showed normochromic red blood cells with some macrocytes and macro-ovalocytes present along with adequate platelets and no blood parasites seen.
