OBJECTIVE

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-

1 Say out the phonemes /c/ and /k/


2 Blend phonemes into words based on pictures, spell and pronounce
correctly.
3 Identify the number of objects that starts with consonant c and k
and group them accordingly.
ACTIVITIES

1 Teacher shows picture cards to the pupils.


2 Teacher asks pupils to name out the picture cards and stress the
phonemes as the word is said.
3 Teacher divides the blackboard to two columns (c and k)
4 Teacher read the lyrics of a song in the text book to model correct
pronunciation.
5 Pupils read after the teacher and identify the meaning of those
words.
6 Teacher list down a few important words from the song and asks the
pupils to pronounce it and spell it.
7 Teacher corrects pupils pronunciation.
