Storing of compressed air
The size of the pressure vessel is defined
according to the quantity of the
supplied air from the compressor on
which is connected, control system and
consumption of compressed air.
Storing of compressed air
Compressed air produced by a compressor is stored in a pres-
surized container. Needs for the compressed air can be cove-
red without the compressor operating. In the meantime, it is
in standby mode and does not consume electricity.
Pressure vessel capacity covers momentarily and peak con-
sumptions of compressed air. Thatswhy compressed air mo-
tor is not put in operating so often, which results in lower
operating costs.
• neccessary.
For larger pressure vessels reinforcements are
Safety checks
Safety valve is necessary to preventive check and review
on any extension of compressor station.
Close the main inlet from the vessel and overcome the pressure
switch that compressor can no longer automatically shut off.
The pressure in the vessel is growing until the safety valve is
activated. The pressure in the vessel should not rise more than
10% above the nominal pressure. If this happens, relief valve
does not meet the requirements and should be replaced.
