Roles & Responsibilities:

Setup, Installation, configuration and Administration of IBM Web Sphere


Application Server 6.0 and IBM HTTP Server 6.0

Involved in Creating and Managing the Nodes, Application Servers, Clusters


and Deployed Multiple J2EE Applications

Installed the fix packs for the problems to get solved with the Application
Server

Configuring of JDBC Providers, Data Source, Virtual Hosting. Global Security,


SSL.

Implemented horizontal and vertical clustering, Work Load Management


(WLM) to make an application Highly Available.

Monitored for Application, Generated core dumps/Heap dumps to check for


system objects using IBM Heap analyzer

Troubleshooting Applications, analyzing logs to diagnose issues.

Configured the Web Server plug-in to connect to Websphere Application


Servers.

While O.S Patching is going on Taking care of existing Applications.

Experienced in installing and upgrading Fix packs and Migrating to latest


versions.

Involved in Documentation of all procedures and any other important issue.
