Addition of HP0 Supply Pump PCV Unit Disassembly and Assembly


Procedure
1. Outline
Repair for the PCV Unit has been added to HP0 Supply Pump Repairs. Accordingly, we will introduce the
PCV unit disassembly and assembly procedure.

1) Check before disassembly.

2) Attach the PCV holder to the PCV.

Make sure the valve does not pop out of the edge of
the PCV holder.

3) Set the PCV in the PCV base.

4) Hit the punch mark on the PCV holder with a hammer


while lifting up the valve portion with your hand and remove the valve.
* The punch mark is located straight above the hook
of the connector.

5) Remove the spacer from the remaining solenoid sub-

6) Remove the shim, spring, and pressure pin.

7) Use a level block to measure the amount of wear after

0-Point Calibration

adjusting the dial gauge to zero point.


Standard Value: Changes according to the part number (engraving).Refer to the figure below.
* Replace the PCV unit if it falls outside of the standard value.
[ REFERENCE ]
There are PCV units where the valve sub-assembly
is replaced, and units where the spring and shim
are also replaced depending on the pump part
number.

4) To prevent the valve from falling out, hit a punch with
a hammer on the chosen position (punch mark) on the
outer edge of the solenoid sub-assembly.
< ATTENTION >
Be careful not to damage the PCV by hitting the
punch with too much force.
