Masala: Ghee Piaaz Lehson Tamator +green Mirch Mircahain Haldi Namak

This recipe calls for frying ghee, onions, garlic, tomatoes and green chilies along with turmeric and salt to make a masala. Then meat or daal is added to the masala. When cooking rice, less onions are used to keep the rice lighter in color. Double the amount of water is added to the rice along with the masala and it is cooked with the lid on for 30-35 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the water.
