(1) Check that the temperature by embedded temperature detector is reasonable. {lt should be at a temperature near the ambient temperature or the temperature of the stator casing.). (2) Check that the bearing oil pressure and the amount of bearing feed oil are reasonable(including the jack oil ). 3) Check there is no rubbing around oil deflector labyrinths etc. when turning gear operates. (4) On the hydrogen cooler, first fully open the water supply valves and extract the air from the air vent. Adjust the cold gas temperature of hydrogen coolers by means of valves at the outlet water side, if necessary.
