Dear parents,
Spring has come in our country while our national army and people are trying to
fight American Army.
I save time to write some words to you. Firstly, I would like to wish our family and
relatives healthy.
Daddy, mommy!
Perhaps, you and my siblings are waiting for my letter to know about my health
since I joined in the army.
So, please read to know something about my life in the army.
Dear parents,
My health is still good and my activities in the army are very funny and happy.
Last time, I had met Mr. Duong, the son of Uncle Luoc on my business trip. He
was very healthy but he did not know me. Although we are far away from each
other but through the letter, the distance is close. Daddy, mommy, please read this
letter to the Uncle Duong and his wife for them to know.
The other people who joined in the army at the same time with me no longer stay
with me and it is also very difficult for us to meet each other. However, last time, I
met Mr. My. He was very well. Although we often exchange letters to each other
but we hardly meet.
Dear parents,
Last Tet holiday, we were very happy. We had all things such as Tet cake, candy,
tea, cigarette, wine...etc.
What about your Tet holiday? Was it happy? Did all of my siblings come back
home to enjoy Tet holiday?
About Mr. Dinh, Kiem, Mr. Suong and his wife, Mr. Dan, did they work at the
same place? If they changed address of the working place, please inform me.

Dear Ms. Dau, Ms. Dam, Ms. Lang, Ms. Dinh, Ms. Sam, Ms. Nga,
Please sympathize and forgive me if I made any mistakes towards you since I was
small.
All of your sons and daughters are nice, arent they? Nam is studying in grade 3,
isnt she? Dan, Nhung, Duc Dao, Quyen are nice, arent they? All of them are the
nice children of Uncle Ho, arent they?
About Mr. Hung, you have been busy for study recently, havent you? Although, it
is hard, you should try your best. Mr. Hung, you are likely to help our family,
arent he? Because when mommy and daddy are old and weak, you are still by
their side.
About husband and wife of Mr. Suong, Mr. Khien, when you have any changes,
please inform me so that I can be happy to you. I shall be very glad if our family
has more children.
Sympathize me, I just joke a little bit.
I temporarily stop writing now. I wish all of my family member healthy to produce
better than in 1969 so that you can accompany with us to fight and win the
American Army.
Your son,
Ngo Minh Khai
