SCHEDULING BACKUP IN TDPSQL

1. Copy the sqlfull.smp file from C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\TDPSql to C:\

And rename that sqlfull.smp to sqlfull.cmd


And rightclick on it and edit.

Edit the DSM.OPT file

As Follows

Define the schedule for SQL full backup

Associate the Schedule to that NODE=SQLNODE

Configure the Schedule Service using DSMCUTIL as follows

In the Client Node Check the Schedule status

Check the Volumes for data that was Backedup from SQLNODE

Taking Backup from Command prompt
