Description The actuator consists of the following: A brass section (1) that fits on the valve control boss (3) and is sealed by an O-ring seal. A PIST (2) type piston that is essential for perforating punctured seal valves (type VS12/VR12/ VSB33). When pressure is applied: The piston opens the valve by puncturing the seal (type VS12/VR12/VSB33) or The pneumatic slide valve moves, which opens the valve, releasing the pressure (type VFR300).
Storage In the original packaging, protected against shock.
Maintenance/servicing A visual inspection of the actuator must be performed once every six months. After triggering: remove the CP16. Check the condition of its gasket. Before assembly, fit a new PIST, then proceed as desccribed in the APEXT MASTER / APEXT INTALL for the type of installation performed.
