rubies. She looks like red wine in a white glass. She is of white color,
and free from the routine physical disabilities of an ordinary woman
such as menstruation, menopause, urinal and offal discharge, child
bearing and the related pollution. A houri is a girl of tender age,
having large breasts which are round (pointed), and not inclined to
dangle. Houris dwell in palaces of splendid surroundings (tirmidhi
sunan volume 2)
Sai'd bin Amir Ra says that he heard Rasool SAW saying, "If a woman
from jannat were to look towards the world, she would fill the earth
with the smell of musk and (her beauty) would overpower the light of
the
sun
and
moon."
Tabarani,

Ibn Abbas Ra narrates that we were sitting with Ka'b Ra one day and
he said, "If the hand of one hur were to dangle from the sky, the
whiteness and the rings of the hand woul illiminate the earth just as
the sun gives light to the world. What I said was just regarding her
hand, so how beautiful will her white face be when it is adorned with a
crown,
ruby,
pearl
and
emerald."

Dunya

in
age"

The breasts of these women will be round like pomegranates and they
will never sag down because these women will never become old."

Anas Ra narrates that Rasool SAW said, "The hurs of jannat will sing,
"We are beautiful women who have been given to honorable
husbands."
Tabrani
Muadh Ra narrates that Rasool SAW said, "If any woman troubles her
husband in the world, his wife from among the hurs says to her, "Dont
bother him, what is wrong with you! He is only a temporary guest by
you, and he will soon leave you and come to us." Tirmidhi, Abu
dawood.
Abdur Rahman bin Sabit Ra said, "Definitely, a person in jannat will
marry 500 hurs, 4,000 virgins and 8,000 previously married women.
He will have sexual intercourse with each one for as long as he lived in
this
world."
Bayhaqi
Abu Hurayrah Ra narrates that Rasool SAW was asked, "Will we have
sexual intercourse with our wives in jannat?" He answered, A person
will have sexual intercourse with 100 virgins in one morning." Abu

Muammed ibn Ka'b al- Qurazi narrates from a person of the Ansar that
Rasool SAW said, "I take a oath of that being who sent me with the
turth, you are not more acquainted with your wives and houses than
the people of jannat. A person of jannat will come to 72 wives which
Allah specially created in jannat and 2 humans wives. The human
wives will have virtue over the (hurs) because they worshipped Allah in
the world. He will come to the first of his wives in a room made of
rubies. (They will be on a) bed made of gold which is adorned with
pearls. This bed will be made of 70 different types of silk. He will place
his hand between her two shoulders and he will see his hand through
her clothes, skin, and flesh. He will see the marrow of her leg just as a
person can see the thread inside a ruby. His inside will be a reflection
of her and her inside will be a reflection of him. He will be in this
condition; he will not become bored of her and she will become bored
of him. Every time he comes to her, he will find her to be a virgin. His
sexual organ will not tire and her sexual organ will not experience any
difficulty. (While he is in this condition), someone will announce, "We
have known that you will not get bored and you will not make her
bored. Both the man and woman will not experience ejaculation of
sperm. You will have other wives besides her." He will go to the other
wives one by one. Whenever he will go to a wife, she will say to him,
"I swear by Allah, there is nothing in jannat more beloved to me than
you."

Abu Hurayrah Ra narrates that Rasool SAW was asked, "Will we have
sexual intercourse in jannat?" He answered, "By the oath that being in
whose hands my life is, yes. (Sexual intercourse will be with) hard
pushes. When one of us completes the task of intercourse with his
wife, she will once become a virgin and a pure woman." Ibn Hibban
Haytham at- Tai and Salim bin A'mir relate that Rasool SAW was asked
regarding sexual intercourse in jannat. He said, "It will be with a
powerful desire and a penis which does not tire. Definitely, a person
will have sex with a woman for 40 years. (During this time) he will not
move away and nor will he tire. He will have sexual intercourse as
much as his soul desires and his eyes will find pleasure in." Harth bin
Usamah,
Ibn
Abi
Hatim.
Harith Ibn Al-Muhasibi told us what would happen when we meet the
black-eyed virgin with her black hair and white face praised be He
who created night and day. What hair! What a chest! What a mouth!
What cheeks! What a figure! What breasts! What thighs! What legs!
What whiteness! What softness! Without any creams no Nivea, no
Vaseline. No nothing! He said that faces would be soft that day. Even
your own face will be soft without any powder or makeup. You yourself
will be soft, so how soft will a black-eyed virgin be, when she comes to
you so tall and with her beautiful face, her black hair and white face praised be He who created night and day. Just feel her palm, Sheik! He
said: How soft will a fingertip be, after being softened in paradise for
thousands of years! There is no god but Allah. He told us that if you
entered one of the palaces, you would find ten black-eyed virgins
sprawled on musk cushions. Where is Abu Khaled? Here, he has
arrived! When they see you, they will get up and run to you. Lucky is
the one who gets to put her thumb in your hand. When they get hold
of you, they will push you onto your back, on the musk cushions. They
will push you onto your back, Jamal! Allah Akbar! I wish this on all
people present here. He said that one of them would place her mouth
on yours. Do whatever you want. Another one would press her cheek
against yours, yet another would press her chest against yours, and
the others would await their turn. There is no god but Allah. He told us
that one black-eyed virgin would give you a glass of wine. Wine in
Paradise is a reward for your good deeds. The wine of this world is
destructive, but not the wine of the world to come.
Gan Eden: Heaven
In Judaism, the eternal destination for the righteous is Gan Eden (the
Garden of Eden). It is generally described as a place of great joy and
peace. Talmudic imagery includes: sitting at golden banquet tables
(Babylonian Talmud, tractate Taanit 25a) or at stools of gold
(Babylonian Talmud, tractate Ketubot 77b), enjoying lavish banquets
(Babylonian Talmud, tractate Baba Batra 75a), or celebrating the
Sabbath,
enjoying
sunshine
and
sexual
intercourse

On the other hand, other sages have offered a more spiritual view of
Gad Eden. Rav suggested that there will be neither eating nor
drinking; no procreation of children or business transactions, no envy
or hatred or rivalry; but sitting enthroned, their crowns on their heads,
enjoying the Shechinah [Babylonian Talmud, tractate Berachot 17a
(3rd century CE)] . Maimonides agreed, explaining:
In the world to come, there is nothing corporeal, and no material
substance; there are only souls of the righteous without bodies -- like
the ministering angels... The righteous attain to a knowledge and
realization of truth concerning God to which they had not attained
while they were in the murky and lowly body. (Mishneh Torah,
Repentance 8)

face in the roundness of her cheek as if he is looking into a polished
mirror, and he sees the brightness from behind her muscles and bones;
if she were to be unleashed upon the World, she would fill what is
between the Heavens and the Earth with a beautiful wind, and the
mouths of the creation would glorify, praise, and exclaim greatness,
and everything between the East and the West would be adorned for
her, and every eye would be shut from everything but her, and the
light of the Sun would be outshone just as the light of the Sun
outshines the light of the stars, and everyone on the face of the Earth

And the covering on her head is better than the World and all that is in
it, and she does not increase with age except in beauty; free from an
umbilical cord, childbirth and menses, and pure of mucous, saliva,
urine and other filthy things; her youth never fades, her clothing is
never worn out, no garment can be created that matches her beauty,
and no one who is with her can ever become bored; her attention is
restricted to her husband, so she desires none but him, just as his

And if you ask about the Day of Increase (in reward) and the visit
of the all-Mighty, all-Wise, and the sight of His Face - free from any
resemblance or likeness to anything - as you see the Sun in the middle
of the day and the full Moon on a cloudless night, then listen on the
day that the caller will call: 'O People of Paradise! Your Lord - Blessed
and Exalted - requests you to visit Him, so come to visit Him!' So they
will
say:
'We
hear
and
obey!'
Until, when they finally reach the wide valley where they will all meet and none of them will turn down the request of the caller - the Lord Blessed and Exalted - will order His Chair to be brought there. Then,
pulpits of light will emerge, as well as pulpits of pearls, gemstone, gold,
and silver. The lowest of them in rank will sit on sheets of musk, and
will not see what those who are on the chairs above them are given.
When they are comfortable where they are sitting and are secure in
their places, and the caller calls: 'O People of Paradise! You have an
appointment with Allah in which He wishes to reward you!' So they will
say: 'And what is that reward? Has He not already made our faces
bright, made our scales heavy, entered us into Paradise, and pushed us
away
from
the
Fire?'
And when they are like that, all of a sudden a light shines that
encompasses all of Paradise. So, they raise their heads, and, behold:
the Compeller - Exalted is He, and Holy are His Names - has come to
them from above them and majestified them and said: 'O People of
Paradise! Peace be upon you!' So, this greeting will not be
responded to with anything better than: 'O Allaah! You are Peace, and
from You is Peace! Blessed are You, O possessor of Majesty and Honor!'
So the Lord - Blessed and Exalted - will laugh to them and say: 'O
People of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Me
without having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!'
So, they will all give the same response: 'We are pleased, so be
pleased with us!' So, He will say: 'O People of Paradise! If I were
not pleased with you, I would not have made you inhabitants
of My Paradise! So, ask of Me!' So, they will all give the same
response: 'Show us your Face so that we may look at it!' So, the Lord Mighty and Majestic - will remove his covering and will majestify them
and will cover them with His Light, which, if Allaah - the Exalted - had
not Willed not to burn them, would have burned them.
And there will not remain a single person in this gathering except that
his Lord - the Exalted - will speak to him and say: 'Do you remember
the day that you did this and that?' and He will remind him of
some of his bad deeds in the Worldy life, so he will say: 'O Lord! Will
you not forgive me?' So, He will say: 'Of course! You have not
reached this position of yours (in Paradise) except by my
forgiveness.'
So, how sweet is this speech to the ears, and how cooled are the
righteous eyes by the glance at His Noble Face in the Afterlife...
{Some faces that Day will be shining and radiant, looking at
their
Lord...}
(al-Qiyaamah:22-3)
[from the amazing and beautiful book Haadi al-Arwaah ilaa Bilaad ilAfraah by Ibn al-Qayyim, pg. 193]
The idea and estimate of Heaven, and at that the Paradise which will
be given to the Chief of the Prophets, the Pride of the Two Worlds
can be had from this that the lowest man amongst the occupants of
Paradise will get a garden ten times bigger than that of this world.
Entering Paradise he will glance right and left and seeing the gardens
will ask: "For whom are these"? He will be told that they are for him.
When he will proceed further, a red ruby or a green emerald will be
brought before him in which there will be seventy houses, each having
seventy rooms and each room having seventy doors. He will be told:
"Go on reciting and climbing," until he reaches his masnad (throne) on
which he will sit and recline. Then his houris will come to him. Their
condition will be such that one of them will come and sit down before
him on the throne. She will be wearing seventy suits of clothes, each of
a different colour, and she will be so beautiful that in spite of those
clothes her flesh and blood and bones, even bone-marrow, will be
visible. This lowly occupant of Paradise will ask her: "Who are you"?
She will say: "I am the houri who had been preserved for you till now.
Then he will continue making amorous glances at her for forty years
and will not withdraw his eves from her.
