    The Owls Ridge Farm Training Show will be held on June 18th, July 9th, September 17th, and October 29th starting at 9 AM. Chelsea McKendrick is the show secretary. The show will have ribbons to 6th place and high point awards. Riders must have current NSEF membership, approved helmet, and signed waiver. Warmup times will be available before classes in the indoor arena. Over fences classes are in the outdoor ring while flat and poles classes are indoors. Entries are due by Wednesday before the show.

    Owls Ridge Farm Training Show

    Entries encouraged to be in hand to secretary by Wednesday prior to the show to avoid


    penalties. Payment must accompany entry in the form of cash, cheque to Owls Ridge Farm, or etransfer to [email protected]

    Canteen on-site

    Ribbons to 6th place in all classes, high point awards for hunter and jumpers

    All riders must have current NSEF membership, properly fitted ASTM approved riding helmet,
    and signed waiver on file with Owls Ridge Farm

    Warmup will be available before each class in the indoor.

    All over fences classes will be held in the outdoor ring. Under saddles, flat classes and poles will
    be held in the indoor arena

    Orders of go will be on a first come, first serve basis

    Over fences warm-up tickets will be available at the office for $2 each. Riders may use tickets at
    any time that there is no one competiting in the show (outdoor) ring, and may school over the
    set course, 1 round per ticket.

    Ring numbers will be available from the show office and must be worn at all times when
    mounted on the show grounds, and must be returned at the end of the day

    No rider will be asked to leave the ring after 3 disobediences, coaches may enter ring and help
    to complete course.

    If a fall occurs in the show ring, rider must leave ring unmounted, and will not be eligible for
    judging in that class

    Class Specifications:
    -

    Walk Trot equitation and pleasure participants may only cross enter to trot poles

    Lead Line participants must be 8 years and under, and may not cross enter into any other class

    Short Stirrup hunter classes to consist of jumps 18 high, open to riders of all ages, but may not
    cross enter into other jumping classes at this show

    All hunter over fences classes will consist of 7-8 hunter style jumps

    All jumper speed classes will consist of a jumper style course, to be timed. No time penalties will
    be given, only jump penalties (rail, refusal = 4 faults).

    ORF Mini Medal will be a hunter style medal equitation class, heights set at 29

    Bareback Equitation will be a walk, trot flat class
