JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB (GENERAL DESCRIPTION):
1. Perform quality inspections to verify acceptability of products with customer specifications.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:
Performs routine and non-routine duties according to the order and instructions of the
Line Leader or Supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in production setting inside the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


1. Secure necessary materials and test equipments needed for conducting test or
inspection.
2. Perform quality inspection for incoming materials and outgoing finished products.
3. Perform in-line process monitoring at production area when required.
4. Act as a link in the process chain and to other operators.
5. Test and measure finished products, and record the results of activities.
6. Follow work standards and comply with product requirements.
7. Maintains good housekeeping of working area.
8. Reports troubles encountered during operation and may perform minor reworks or
seek assistance of qualified technician to solve errors or defects.
9. Meet with superiors and co-workers to ensure that the results of their activities meet
company standards and the expectations of the customers.
10. Prepare production reports, keeping files and records.
11.Ensure compliance to procedure and Work Instructions.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


1. May perform portions of the work of higher classified jobs occasionally, as assigned.
2. May perform duties of similar complexity in production as required or assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION/REQUIRED COMPETENCY

WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 2 years work experience in the same position is an advantage
2. At least 6 months work experience in manufacturing operation or equivalent
position.
EDUCATION:
1. Graduate of Secondary Education or technical education.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
1. Good listener and flexible skills
2. Efficient in time management skills
3. Quality oriented, good interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to interpret and follow written specification and instruction.
5. Distinguishes acceptable and rejected parts.
