Module 13 - Aircraft Structures and Systems B2

The autothrottle can be engaged before takeoff. A failure of one FMS computer will result in no effect on the CDU display. An FADEC system consists of the electronic control unit and all its sensors. The go-around switches are normally located on the thrust levers. Engaging the autothrottle with reverse thrust selected will disconnect the autothrottle. At touchdown, the autothrottle will go to idle and disconnect.
