SCORPION H2 HANDHELD COMPUTER


The SCORPION H2 Handheld computer is
the second generation of DRS Technologies
family of SCORPION handheld computers.
The SCORPION H2 provides first responders
and dismounted organizational leaders a task
and mission-configurable handheld computing
solution. Configurable to meet the demands of
the dismounted Warfighter, the SCORPION
H2 is a rugged commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS)
device. The SCORPION handheld computer
features the latest Android operating system
and is equipped with a dual core processor and
robust memory and storage capacity. The modular
design of the SCORPION H2 is compatible with
a family of expansion modules designed to meet
special capability sets. The roadmap of expansion
modules currently includes: Extended Battery
Life, USB HUB, Information Assurance (IA), RFID,
Dead Reckoning, SAASM GPS and Chemical Bio
Detection.
