Goal Statement: To develop skills, experience, and knowledge as a professional nurse in an acute health care setting in a medical-surgical
specialty and complete my education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

phlebotomist- I perform
venipuncture, microcapillary
draws from the finger and
heel, and patient education
on proper collection of
various laboratory specimen.
Clinical rotations- I have
cared for 4 patients during
med-surg rotation. I worked
in tandem with the primary
nurse to provide care to all
the primary nurses
assignments. I have had
clinical rotations in long term
care, maternity, pediatrics,
mental health, and medicalsurgical units.

Trained a phlebotomy intern- I


provided education and skills
training to a new phlebotomy
intern in 2014. She
successfully completed 100
hours and 100 successful
venipunctures.
