Banks growth chart has already projected a growth rate of 7.5% this year
for India, to surpass Chinese growth. Growth in South Asia is expected to
continue around 7% this year. The raising problems in Arab and African
states are further increasing the importance of emerging economies in the
global business order. The emergence of multilateralism and regionalism has
started posing challenges of regionalised protection in various formats.
Though the global business is trying to address such challenges through
global value chains, the challenges of neo-protectionism remain.
