The documentary will focus on Vivienne Westwood and street fashion subcultures in London. A brief synopsis of your project

For your project we are going to make a documentary about Vivienne Westwood
and the different types and sub cultures of the street fashion in London. We are
going to be interviewing fashion lecturers, models and designers. We want to
find out what people have to say about their fashion and how important they
think it is. We will be asking a range of questions related to Vivienne westwood
about the influences she brings to London.

While researching, we contacted the Vivienne Westwood offices, attempting to


interview Vivienne Westwood or a member of her company. They have replied
to us informing us that this would not be possible. Therefore we have decided to
visit her first store and find people to interview who know a lot about Vivienne
Westwood’s influences. We have also managed to interview one of Vivienne
Westwood’s plus size models.

For the opening of our documentary we are going to introduce her first store by
going there and explaining in what ways her style has inspired a lot of people in
today’s society.
Camden is well known for having a variety of fashion sub-genres. Therefore we
thought this would be a perfect place to interview people, with relation to our
documentary.

We have approached the London school of fashion. They have not replied
however we have used our own contacts and managed to arrange interviews
with lecturers from the university.
