3. MODUMLE MANAGER
Select Extensions Module Manager from the drop-down menu on the back-end of
your Joomla! installation.

Select Menu

Click on Module Manager in the Control Panel of the administrator interface.

The functions are:


New. Opens the editing screen to create a new module.
Edit. Opens the editing screen for the selected module. If more than one module is
selected (where applicable), only the first module will be opened. The editing screen can
also be opened by clicking on the Title or Name of the module.

Duplicate. Makes a copy of the selected module. The copy is created immediately and is
given the same name as the original but prefixed with "Copy of" and/or suffixed with a
number (eg. "(2)") so that it can be distinguished from the original and any other copies.
Publish. Makes the selected modules available to visitors to your website.
Unpublish. Makes the selected modules unavailable to visitors to your website.
Check In. Checks-in the selected modules. Works with one or multiple modules selected.
Trash. Changes the status of the selected modules to indicate that they are trashed.
Trashed modules can still be recovered by selecting "Trashed" in the Select Status filter
and changing the status of the modules to Published or Unpublished as preferred. To
permanently delete trashed modules, select "Trashed" in the Select Status filter, select the
modules to be permanently deleted, then click the Empty Trash toolbar icon.
Options. Opens the Options window where settings such as default parameters or
permissions can be edited.
Help. Opens this help screen.

List Filters
Filter by Partial Title or ID. In the
upper left is a filter field and two
buttons, as shown below.
To filter by partial title, enter part of the title and
click Search(for example, " JM Slideshow
Responsive ").
To filter by ID number, enter "id:xx", where "xx" is
the ID number of the module JM Slideshow
Responsive (for example, "id:9").
Click Clear to clear the Filter field and restore the list
to its unfiltered state.

Filter by Type
In the upper right area, above the column headings,
are following drop-down list boxes as shown below:
The selections may be combined. Only items
matching both selections will display in the list.

Select Type. Select the Module Type JM Slideshow Responsive from the drop-down
list box of available Module Types. Joomla! installs with 20 available Module Types.
Additional ones may be available if you have installed any Joomla! Extensions.

Joomla default settings made available as a module, you can find it when selecting
Filter->--Select Type--.> JM Slideshow Responsive.
If you want to add modules Toolbar->New

Select a module that you want displayed.

Choose JM Slideshow Responsive.

For existing Modules, edit functions: At the top right you will see the toolbar:
The functions are:

+ Save. Saves the module and stays in the current screen.


+ Save & Close. Saves the module and closes the current screen.
+ Save & New. Saves the module and keeps the editing screen open and ready to
create another module.
+ Cancel/Close. Closes the current screen and returns to the previous screen
without saving any modifications you may have made.
+ Help. Opens this help screen.
Added your title and click here button Save.

2. HOW TO USE
After you know how to create and edit modules, our will guide you to usage installed
and handling.
Again with Module Manager, you will find the module JM Slideshow Responsive
with the way to find by name in the frame searching or select Filter->Select Type-> JM
Slideshow Responsive.

Select the module you want to customize.

Module JM Slideshow Responsive:

1. DETAILS
Title. The Title for this item
This may or may not display on the page, depending on the parameter values you
choose.

Position. Module shown in the templete


Click button to open a modal pop up window to select Module position by available
positions in a Template(s) installed.

Please select one in the location for module shown in the templete, This is required if
module will not be displayed.

Status. The published status of this item.


+ Published: Item is visible in the front end of the site.
+ Unpublished: Item is will not be visible to guests in the front end of the site. It
may be visible to logged in users who have edit state permission for the item.
+ Trashed: Item is deleted from the site but still in the database. It can be
permanently deleted from the database with the Empty Trash function in Article
Manager.

Access. Select the viewing access level for this item from the list box. The access levels
that display will depend on the what has been set up for this site in UsersAccess
Levels. Note that access levels are separate from ACL permissions. Access levels control
what a user can see. ACL permissions control what actions a user can perform

Ordering. Select the ordering of the module as compared to other modules in the same
position. See Position.

Start Publishing. Date and time to start publishing. Use this field if you want to enter
content ahead of time and then have it published automatically at a future time.
Finish Publishing. Date and time to finish publishing. Use this field if you want to have
content automatically changed to Unpublished state at a future time (for example,
when it is no longer applicable).

Language. Select the language for this item. If you are not using the multi-language
feature of Joomla, keep the default of 'All'.

Note. Item note. This is normally for the site administrator's use (for example, to
document information about this item) and does not show in the front end of the site.

2. OPTIONS
BASIC OPTION:

+ Responsive. easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning,


and scrollingacross a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop
computer monitors).

+ Module Class Suffix. Setting this parameter causes Joomla! to either add a new
CSS class or modify the existing CSS class for the div element for this specific
module
SOURCE OPTIONS:

+ Slider Source. Support for Joomla, K2, Hika Shop and Image Directory.

+ From Directory. browse photos by name, Directory image not support


subfolder image = (slide1 slide2 slide3 ...). Instead, you can call image/slide1 or
image/slide2. Support file type .img .png.

3. ADVANCED OPTIONS

+ Load jQuery. To avoid conflict or download jquery library so many times, we to


default option "no".

4. MENU ASSIGNMENT

+ On all pages. Module will be displayed on all pages.


+ No pages. Does not appear on any page.
+ Only on the pages selected. Select pages from the list, module is displayed in the
page you choose.
+ On all pages except those selected. This option is the opposite of Only on the
pages selected.
