Where Is This Writer?

I am a resident of Yankee Springs Township in Middleville
[Michigan].
One little discussed but major concern for me is the degradation to our
local road system as a result of a dramatic increase in heavy truck
traffic caused by shale gas drilling, or fracking. Many of our roads in
Yankee Springs Township are dirt or gravel roads.
I was disturbed to learn that a single fracking job requires over a
thousand trucks and each well can be fracked up to 18 times.
Multiple tractor-trailer loads are then required to haul in the various
parts of the drill rig, while later hauling away these same parts from
the gas well site
