Literature
Paper 1 - Unseen Passage for Commentary
Paper 2 - Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Tamas, Oedipus, Macbeth
Language & Literature
Paper 1- (Language in the Cultural Context and Language and Mass Communication)
HL students will get a paired text (2 hours)
SL students will get a single text (1.5 hours)
Textual analysis based on what has been covered: Advertisements, Speeches, Newspaper
articles, Profiles, Editorials, Cartoons, Unseen Passages.
Paper 2 Literature: Text and Context
The paper is the same for HL as well as SL students. However, the duration of the paper
for HL is 2 hours and for SL, it is 1.5 hours

Grammar : tenses-present, pass compose, future simple, future proche et pass recent.

Visual Art
The Final Exam of IB Visual Art for both HL and SL student will comprise of two parts.
The first half will be based on doing a comparative study on any 2 contemporary Artists.
One of whose work you should have seen yourself. This should be in the form of a PPT.
The second half; to use the technique of one the selected artist to create a painting of your
own. Write an exhibition text of 3-4 lines.
The day of the exam:
Students will bring with them the PPT presentation on their lap tops to the art room. You
can bring rough sketches in pencil only of what you are going to make. Canvases will be
provided in the art room. If working in 3D, materials other than what is readily available
in the art room will have to be brought.
