Case Study (M.Com 524)
The following guidelines will help you to clarify many procedural aspects regarding
project completion. A student can take up Project work only after admission into the
second year of the M.Com programme.
Objective
The objective of the project component of the M.Com programme is to help the
student develop the ability to apply multidisciplinary concepts, tools and techniques to
solve organisational problems.
Submit two hard bound copies of the Project Report / Case Study.
The Project Report / Case Study your should include the following titles

Introduction
Rationale: Importance and Significance of the Study
Objectives
Hypotheses
Research Methodology
Data analysis and interpretation
Findings, Conclusions and Suggestions
The Project Report / Case Study should be submitted in A-4 size, (29 x 20
cm) typed in double space, in a bound volume.
Before binding the Project Report the student should ensure that it
contains: Originality Certificate.
[Candidates should submit a statement, certifying that the work is an
original one and has not been submitted earlier either to this University or
to any other Institution for fulfillment of the requirement of a course of
study. The above certificate should be countersigned by the Project
Supervisor.]
The students should keep a copy of the Project Report / Case Study with
them. The Project Report / Case Study submitted to the Study Center will not
be returned to the student.
