Activities
The conference will feature four (4) symposia lasting three days each on
the following topics, dates and locations:
Environment and Climate Change (San Fernando, Sibuyan Island,
May 1-3, 2015);
Culture and History (Romblon Island, May 5-7, 2015);
Archaeology and Museum Studies (Banton Island, May 9-11,
2015); and
Language and Education (Odiongan, Tablas Island, May 13-15,
2015).
Each symposium will be highlighted by plenary lectures, paper reading
and poster sessions, workshops, photo-exhibits, book and research
launches, writing contests and eco-cultural activities.
A one-day seminar-workshop on forensic science will also be held on May
12, 2015 in Odiongan with top Philippine forensic experts as resource.
Guidelines for Abstract/Poster Submissions
1. Paper presentations will last 15 minutes and posters can be viewed in
an area designed for this.
2. Abstracts should be 150-200 words long and clearly present a
research problem, critical review of earlier studies, methodology, results
and conclusions.
