Last meeting we read the story Outwitting A
Crocodile. What lesson did we learn from the
story?
Very well said, it taught us to think logically
and be wary of our surroundings.
What Philippine folktale can we compare the
story to?
Yes, exactly. Because like Sang Kancil,
Pilandok is also a mouse deer who likes
playing tricks on others especially those who
are bad and mean.
C. Motivation
Class do you want to play a game?
The title of this game is The Longest List.
The class should be divided into 4 groups.
Count off, one, two, three, four Now, choose
your leader. Leaders come forward. Pick one
paper (coin, book, shoe, stuff toy). (will give
the student the corresponding material on their
paper) In one minute you have to describe the
object that is written on your paper. List words
that describe your object on this manila paper.
Later you will have to post your answers on the
board. The group that has listed the most
describing words wins the game and will
receive a prize.
