T. greets the Ss., writes the date on the BB, checks the HW.
T Ss interaction
Ss. are given pictures representing action verbs. They are asked to
write in their copybooks as many verbs and expressions they can in
the given period of time. Ss . work in pairs. The T. monitors and
asks for the results.
T-Ss; Ss- Ss; Ss T interaction
Ss. are given 16 sentences to unscramble. Ss work in pairs,
unscramble the sentences and place them in the correct column:
present simple vs. present progressive. T. monitors and asks for
results.
T. elicits the present simple negative forms and explains that it is
formed by using DO NOT (DONT) and DOES NOT (DOESNT) +
VERB. T. highlights the differences on the BB.

In pairs the Ss. get 4 task cards and follow the instructions on the
cards in order to make sentences. They are written on the back of
the previous handout. T. monitors and asks for the results

In pairs the Ss. get 2 cards without instructions regarding the tense
to use. The Ss. have to make their own sentences, using the given
verbs on the cards. The T. asks them to make an affirmative sentence
no matter the tense. S2 makes it negative. Then the Ss . make a
