Executive Summary
Nicevend aims to become a leading player in the world of frozen
drinks and has developed a new and revolutionary line of proprietary
systems and products for this market.
Our first machine, the quinzee, is capable of preparing an ongoing
frozen servings supply in various textures and tastes ( e.g. smoothies,
Frappuccinos, Slurpees etc. in flavours like latte, vanilla, iced tea,
natural fruits, sugarless, frozen soft drinks flavours, frozen yogurts,
protein shakes and more) all made immediately using our proprietary
line of instant powders and post mix syrups.
Our patented method prepares the desired drink after the
customers selection is made, in a fully automatic and operator-free
process of ~50 seconds, and can supply a different flavour each and
every time in continuous cycles.

The market
The vending machines market accounts for generating
an astonishing percentage of total western household
expenses. In 2014, the U.S. vendible products revenues
totalled more than $41B, of which, 56% ($23B) are cold
beverages. The ice cream vended products totalled
2.1% ($929M). Over 1,000,000 automatic vending
machines are manufactured annually!
The quinzee is the only automatic frozen drinks
vending machine in the world, and is unique in its
ability to generate a phenomenal profit level for the
operator (much higher than for cans, snacks etc.)
Based on our thorough understanding of the vending
machines market, combined with operating
experience, market research and pilot tests, we can
clearly estimate our ability to sell thousands of quinzee
machines worldwide for the automatic vending
market. Subsequently, we plan to use our know-how
(and IP) and design the worlds first automatic countertop solution which will be offered to customers in the
food-service market (e.g. Starbucks, McDonalds,
Seven-Eleven etc.) and would be a first solution to an
existent, long-lasting operational problem.
FLAKES, our premium quality ingredients variety is sold
to quinzee machine operators. This line of post-mix
syrups offers a high quality frozen drinks variety which
would become the essence of quinzees vended drinks.
By using special B.I.B packages and proprietary RFID
technology which compels the machine to work
exclusively with Flakes syrups, Nicevend would
continue its revenue stream after the sale of the
machines and can enable other beverage companies to
offer their brands, securely as frozen drinks within the
quinzee installed-base.
Intellectual property
The on-demand preparation method used within the
quinzee machine was developed, engineered and
tested solely by our staff. No other vending machine or
frozen beverage preparation mechanism uses our
method to produce drinks. During the evolution of our
machine, several patents were filed worldwide in order
to protect our intellectual property. Our U.S, Israeli,
Australian, Chines, Japanese, Mexican and European
patents have already been approved and we are
confident that other countries will follow and accept
our submissions soon.

Marketing activity
Nicevend has recently launched its U.S operational
activity and has already launched several pilots with
major food & beverage companies which are looking to
use their brands within the quinzee. We also look into
collaborating with leading brands of energy drinks,
protein shakes, ice creams, healthy fruit drinks and
other beverage segments thriving to initiate a larger
scale collaborations for 2016.
Future development
As numerous multi-national food & beverage
companies also show keen interest in a smaller scale
counter-top quinzee model, we plan to begin
developing such a model during H1 2016. A countertop model of this kind will offer an on-demand
preparation of frozen textured drinks in a smaller,
counter-top size for the food service and Ho.Re.Ca
markets and will be offered to companies like
McDonalds, Aramark, Seven Eleven, Starbucks etc. as
the first solution of its kind. A working proof of concept
is planned in the first half of 2017.
Financial forecast
Nicevend started its sales last year and expects to
generate revenues of $1M in 2015. The company plans
to reach revenues of $40M by 2018. Nicevend expects
to become EBITDA positive in 2017/18.
Investment round
Nicevend is looking to raise $10M during the first half
of 2016. Funds would be allocated to financing final
stage of mass production via Flextronics while boosting
business development, sales and marketing activities
in targeted markets.
We also plan to lunch the development of a smaller
sized counter-top quinzee version, for the Food-service
market.
