TRUCK:
Heavy equipment refers to heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed
for executing construction tasks, most frequently ones involving
earthwork operations. They are also known as heavy machines,
heavy trucks, construction equipment, engineering equipment,
heavy vehicles, or heavy hydraulics.
Mobile Crane:
A mobile crane is a cable-controlled crane mounted on crawlers or rubber-tired carriers
or a hydraulic-powered crane with a telescoping boom mounted on truck-type carriers.
They are designed to easily transport to a site and use with different types of load and
cargo with little or no setup or assembly. Mobile cranes generally operate a boom from
the end of which a hook is suspended by wire rope and sheaves.
Excavator:
Excavators are also called diggers. These are heavy construction equipment consisting
of a boom, stick, bucket and cab on a rotating platform known as the house .The house
Usage:
Material handling
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
Crawler dozer:
A bulldozer is a crawler continuous tracked tractor equipped with
a substantial metal plate known as a blade used to push large
Loader:
A loader is a heavy equipment machine often used in construction, primarily used to Load
material (such as asphalt, demolition debris, dirt, snow, feed, gravel, logs, raw minerals and
recycled material . A loader is a type of tractor, usually wheeled, sometimes on tracks, that
has a front-mounted square wide bucket connected to the end of two booms (arms) to
scoop up loose material from the ground, such as dirt, sand or gravel, and move it from one
place to another without pushing the material across the ground.
A skid loader or skid-steer loader is a small rigid frame, engine-powered machine with
lift arms used to attach a wide variety of labor-saving tools or attachments.
Though sometimes they are equipped with tracks, skid-steer loaders are typically fourwheel vehicles with the wheels mechanically locked in synchronization on each side,
and the left-side drive wheels can be driven independently of the right-side drive wheels
Graders:
A grader, also commonly referred to as a road grader, a blade, a maintainer, or a motor
grader, is a construction machine with a long blade used to create a flat surface.
Graders are commonly used in the construction and maintenance of dirt roads and
gravel roads.
In the construction of paved roads they are used to prepare the base course to create a
wide flat surface for the asphalt to be placed on. Graders are also used to set native soil
foundation pads to finish grade prior to the construction of large buildings.
Tower crane:
Tower cranes are a common fixture at any major construction site. They often rise
hundreds of feet into the air, and can reach out just as far. The construction crew uses
the tower crane to lift steel, concrete, large tools like acetylene torches and generators,
and a wide variety of other building materials. Tower cranes are a modern form of
balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete
slab and sometimes attached to the sides of structures), tower cranes often give the
best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction of tall
buildings.
Scrappers:
Dump truck:
Dump trucks or production trucks are those that are used for
transporting loose material such as sand, dirt, and gravel for
construction. The typical dump truck is equipped with a
hydraulically operated open box bed hinged at the rear, with
the front being able to be lifted up to allow the contents to fall
out on the ground at the site of delivery. Dump trucks come in
many different configurations with each one specified to
accomplish a specific task in the construction chain.
Crawler excavator:
A crawler excavator (crawling digger) is a vehicle designed to dig or move large
objects, and is classified by its mode of locomotion. The many types of excavators
include wheeled, walker, towed and rail excavators. More like a Sibling to the
crawling-tanks widely used by the armies, these crawlers move upon the same
rotating wheel systems; but along with that have the ability to Dig, Pick and Transport
Earth-substance On the Go.
Trailers:
A trailer is generally an unpowered vehicle pulled by a powered vehicle.
Commonly, the term trailer refers to such vehicles used for transport of goods and
materials.
Road Roller:
A road roller sometimes called a roller-compactor, or just roller
is a compactor type engineering vehicle used to compact soil,
gravel, concrete, or asphalt in the construction of roads and
foundations, similar rollers are used also at landfills or in
agriculture. In some parts of the world, road rollers are still
known colloquially as steam rollers, regardless of their method
of propulsion. This typically only applies to the largest
examples (used for road-making). Road rollers use the weight
of the vehicle to compress the surface being rolled or use
mechanical advantage (vibrating).
Conveyors:
A conveyor system is a common piece of mechanical handling equipment that
moves materials from one location to another. Conveyors are especially useful in
applications involving the transportation of heavy or bulky materials. Conveyor
systems allow quick and efficient transportation for a wide variety of materials,
which make them very popular in the material handling and packaging industries.
Concrete mixtures:
A concrete mixer (also commonly called a cement mixer) is a device that
homogeneously combines cement, aggregate such as sand or gravel, and water to
form concrete. A typical concrete mixer uses a revolving drum to mix the
components
Concrete truck:
Special concrete transport trucks (intransit mixers) are made to transport and mix
concrete up to the construction site. They can be charged with dry materials and
water, with the mixing occurring during transport. With this process, the material
has already been mixing. The concrete mixing transport truck maintains the
material's liquid state through agitation, or turning of the drum, until delivery.
Stone crusher:
A crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller rocks, gravel,
or rock dust. Crushers may be used to reduce the size, or change the form, of
waste materials so they can be more easily disposed of or recycled, or to reduce
the size of a solid mix of raw materials (as in rock ore), so that pieces of different
composition can be differentiated.
Paver:
A paver (paver finisher, asphalt finisher, paving machine) is a piece of construction
equipment used to lay asphalt on roads, bridges, parking lots and other such
places. It lays the asphalt flat and provides minor compaction before it is
compacted by a roller. The asphalt is added from a dump truck or a material
transfer unit into the paver's hopper. The conveyor then carries the asphalt from
the hopper to the auger. The auger places a stockpile of material in front of the
screed. The screed takes the stockpile of material and spreads it over the width of
the road and provides initial compaction.
