By the end of todays lesson: I can define the term computer.


List at least 4 machines that have computers embedded in
them.
A computer is an electronic machine that processes and stores data according to
a set of instructions. Computers come in different shapes, sizes and types.
People use computers everyday without realizing it.

There are some special machines with special brains that are found in places like
homes, schools, offices, laboratories, hospitals, police stations, airports,
supermarkets, gas stations and factories. These machines have computer brains
built in or embedded in them. They are said to be computerized and so are seen
as special types of computers. Some of these computerized machines are ATMs,
smartphones, MP3 Players, cash registers, gas pumps, GPs, electronic games and
digital camera.
