providing leadership, to the subordinates and

PHASE 1 : INTRODUCTORY PHASE
After the routine classroom practices teacher begin the
class by asking some questions.
Have you heard about management?
What is management?
Can you give some definition of management?
Do you know what re the different activities of an
organisation?
From the responses of students, teacher came to the topic

PHASE 2: DEVELOPMENTAL PHASE
ACTIVITY 1 : GENERAL DISCUSSION
The teacher initiates a general discussion by
showing a notice of the state level seminar and asks the
questions to students.
Have you analyzed the notice?
What are the things analyzed?
Suppose if you arrange a programme, how do you
prepare such a notice?
What are the things needed for this?
Likewise in an organization what will be the first
function?
Based on the above discussion teacher enables the
students to realize that

is the process of deciding in advance. What to do. How
to do it. When to do it and who is to do it.
ACTIVITY 2: GROUP ACTIVITY AND GROUP
DISCUSSION
Teacher initiates a group activity by giving
cards containing different items, in groups and asks
students to classify these items into different groups. After
their activity teacher asks:
How to group these items.
What are the criteria used for grouping.
In an organization what are the different activities.
Do you think that one person can do all these
questions?
In organizations there are different persons with
different skills. Then how to assign duties.
