SUB: INTERVIEW CALL LETTER FOR THE POST OF EXECUTIVE TRAINEE - 2015
Please refer to your candidature for the post of Executive Trainee-2015 against our
advertisement number-01/2015. Based on the information furnished by you in the online
registration system and on the basis of your performance in the GATE-2015, you have been
shortlisted to appear for Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interview (PI) for the post
of Executive Trainee-2015, before NTPC Central Selection Board as per the following schedule:

candidature / reimburse your travelling expenses (to outstation candidates only)

GATE-2015 Score Card

Date of Birth (10th standard certificate with mark sheet).

1.3

Qualifications (Certificate/ Provisional Certificate/ Degree/ PG Degree/ Diploma and


mark sheets of all semesters/ years).

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class (non-creamy layer)


certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by GOI*,
wherever applicable. Candidates belonging to OBC Non Creamy Layer are
required to bring caste certificate from the Competent Authority, issued in
the Current Year.

Claim of domicile in the state of J&K between 01.01.80 to 31.12.89 wherever


applicable.

1.6

Physical Disability certificate from the Competent Authority, wherever applicable.

1.7

No Objection Certificate from current employer, if working with State / Central


Govt. Department, State / Central PSUs or any Govt. Inst/body.

2.

Self attested copies of all the documents indicated in para 1 above (one set).

3.

In case you are a Final Year student, you will be required to give an undertaking* (in the
prescribed format) stating that you will produce provisional degree certificate or degree
certificate of the qualifying examination on or before 31st July-2015 showing successful
completion of Engineering Degree and also securing the prescribed % marks.

4.

This interview call letter duly signed at the space provided.

Train/Bus Tickets in Original.

Two recent Passport Size Photographs. (Colour)

Also Please Note the Following:


A.

You will be reimbursed to and fro second class fare from the address mentioned in this
letter or the place from where you actually travelled, whichever is nearer to the place of
interview, by the shortest route, on production of original railway ticket. In case you have
travelled by bus, the reimbursement will be limited to equivalent second-class rail fare
from the nearest railway station, subject to production of bus ticket. The local travel
expenses will not be reimbursed. You would be required to fill up the TA claim form* for
reimbursement.

B.

Your candidature is being considered for the post of Executive Trainee on provisional
basis. The fact that you have been called to appear/attend GD/PI does not guarantee the
adequacy of your candidature for being considered for the advertised post. Your
candidature is subject to your meeting the prescribed / notified criteria and further
verification of facts as stated by you in your application / at the time of pre-interview
proceedings / during interview etc. In case you do not meet the advertised specifications,
or your candidature is in variance to the advertised specifications, please do not report for
the GD / interview.

C.

Kindly note that qualifying in GD & PI separately (in addition to the marks
obtained in GATE-2015) is required for consideration in final Merit list.

D.

In the event of your failure to comply with the instructions / guidelines as mentioned
above, or in case it is detected that you have attempted to misrepresent facts, your
candidature for the post/ this call letter shall be treated as cancelled and withdrawn abinitio and no TA will be reimbursed.

E.

It shall be our endeavor to complete the selection proceedings on the same day.
However, in case GD / PI are postponed or last longer due to unforeseen circumstances,
you may have to stay for a day further at your own cost and no DA or any other expenses
will be admissible / reimbursed by NTPC.

F.

Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
