How To Draw A Semi-Log Graph

Semi-logarithmic graph paper compresses the scale for large numbers and expands the scale for small numbers along one axis, usually the y-axis. This allows scientific data spanning a wide range of values to be graphed on a single sheet of paper as a straight line suitable for extrapolation. A document provides instructions for creating a well-organized semi-log graph using an example dataset, including properly labeling the axes, scaling the y-axis in cycles, and connecting data points or fitting a curve as appropriate.
