Project Support Material

This document outlines the structure and contents of a research thesis containing 5 chapters. It describes the contents of each chapter, including an introduction outlining the topic, objectives, and significance of the study in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 will contain a literature review and theoretical framework. Chapter 3 describes the research methodology, including the research design, population, sampling technique, size, instruments, and data collection process. CHAPTER-3
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Describe the basic research plan. Indicate the practical way in
which the whole research study/project has been organized.
The nature of the study whether it is exploratory, descriptive,
and type of research survey, comparative or a case study, must
be stated.
3-1 RESEARCH DESIGN
Research Design provides the glue that holds the project &
research together. A design is used to structure the research to
show how all the major parts of the research project i-e the
samples or groups, measure, treatments or program and
methods of assignments work together to address the central
research question.

3-2 POPULATION
Population here means the population of study. The total
number of individuals to whom the results of a research one
intended to apply constitutes the research population.

3-3 SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

Sampling is the process of selecting sufficient number of
elements from the population. There are two main types of
sampling designs. Probability and Non-Probability.
3-4 SAMPLING SIZE
Sampling size selected from population which might consist of
100,150,200 etc.
3-5 RESEARCH TOOL / INSTRUMENT
This may include questionnaires, observations, interview etc. It
should be clearly mentioned.
3-6 DATA COLLECTION
A formal data collection process is necessary as it ensures that
data gathered is both defined.

DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

Data analysis may be descriptive, graphic or statistical. Each
question will be analyzed. Different relevant statistical
technique such mean, median, mode, chi-square, correlation,
regression may be applied.

CHAPTER-5
FINDING, CONCLUSION AND
RECOMMENDATIONS
While writing this section of my thesis I will first present the
purpose, Objectives, Research Questions and hypothesis.
During this research work, if I feel any hindrance or restrictions,
that limitations will also be highlighted.
Conclusions will be drawn on the basis of data collected.
Recommendations will be based on the data analysis.
Recommendations of the Researchers will also be mentioned
(Literature Review). All such type of ideas beliefs and biases
which are not supported by any data will not be included.
