INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT
This project is based upon the Library management
system. It is used to record all the information related
to books. This information is accurate and efficient , the
computerization work can reduce the errors, and also
save the time.
This record of book is very useful for librarian, and
any other person who wants to know any information
related to books. This is beneficial for everyone who
wants to know all the information regarding the books
as their Author name, Publisher ,edition etc. in the
computerized form.
By using this program the user can do the work more
quickly and in accurate form. This gives the information
regarding the books in an interactive and effective way
in the computerized form. It is very easy to use this
system than maintaining records manually.

NEED AND IMPORTANCE


The records and forms are maintained due to the
following requirements:
Reduce the errors.
Easy to add and manipulate the record.
Require less time to search any record.

PROBLEM OF EXISTING SYSTEM


There are so many problems available in traditional
record system like redundancy, inconsistency, difficulty
in sharing of data. Incompatible record system, lack of
data security, lack of data integrity, data dependency,
lack of Flexibility, inadequate data modeling of real
world, concurrency.
The problem of the traditional record system is that
records are constructed manually. This means that
whenever a change is to be made, whole of the record
is to be constructed again. Thus manual records are of
rigid type.
We cannot bring changes in the rigid system. Whenever
a concerned person wants to get information regarding
the records of a particular book means available in
library or not, it becomes difficult as has to check whole
the books records. We have to search whole record to
get particular information, which is merely the wastage
of time. It is the time consuming system and it is
impossible to prepare the record accurately through
this system.

PROPSED SYSTEM
In order to overcome the traditional record system, the
concept of computerized record system was introduced.
A computerized system is basically a record keeping
system i.e. its overall purpose is to maintain
information and to make the information available on
demand. In this system we have removed obstacles of
the existing system by computerized the records.
1) This system avoid redundancy.
2) In this system searching becomes easy.
3) In this system modification in the existing records is
easy and it saves time also.
4) This system reduces the human efforts

About Platforms
For Front-end :
Advanced java programming Language
We are using NetBeans 7.0.1 tools for designing our
project. This tool is quite easy to use and easy to
implement our coding.
It requires least efforts to design a code. Java is an
Object Oriented Language and provides very simple
and easy code and also provides security of code.
For Back-end:
MS-ACCESS 2007
For backend database we are using MS-ACCESS2007
which is very simple to use and easy to create
database. It provides great compatibility with net
beans.
