Ballarat.

Overview of project: The Payroll application consists of 3 modules fill it up by all the required
details. Which were purchase, production and sales. This application involved manual
testing of this application to specify the accurate wages for employees according to there
departments.

My responsibilities: Regression testing was performed for the updating of the software. I
performed Unit testing across all three sections of the application to achieve an integrated
solution. This included framing and prioritizing of requirements, creation and execution
of test cases in Test Director and defect reporting using document generator.

Tools used: Test director from Mercury Quality centre 9.2, VB script, MS Word, MS excel.

Data warehouse application


Duration: 5 months

Overview of project: This application-involved software testing of Amtel’s data warehouse
application. The desired result of this application was to specify the precise aisle and row
number of the next available job for a stores person on the completion of a given job.

My responsibilities: I performed manual testing of storing an item ID and the positions where it
is present in a warehouse. As multiple store persons could request for the same job, a lot
of load testing was involved in this project. This included creation and execution of test
cases in Test Director and defect reporting using MS word.

Tools used: Test director from Mercury Quality centre 9.2, MS Word, MS excel.

Call centre application


Duration: 4 months
Number of team members: 3

Overview of project: This application-involved manual software testing of IPRIMUS’s Call


center application in MS ACCESS containing name, date of birth, phone number, current
address and current phone provider to a call centre’s representative.

My responsibilities: I performed mostly data driven manual testing in this project to test the
outcome of out of range or invalid data being entered by a user. This included execution
of functional test cases in MS word, defect identification and reporting to team leader. I
used to write SQL queries in ORACLE to handle database.

Tools used: MS Word, MS excel, MS Access.
